Founded at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) in April, 2020, we have grown into one of Africa's most impactful university blockchain communities, serving as a launchpad for students seeking opportunities in blockchain, Web3, AI, and emerging technologies.

Over the years, we have successfully onboarded more than 7,500 students into the blockchain industry through educational programs, workshops, bootcamps, hackathons, mentorship initiatives, and ecosystem partnerships. Our community is committed to transforming curious learners into skilled developers, contributors, researchers, founders, and ecosystem leaders.

As a developer-focused community, we actively support technical talent development by providing hands-on learning opportunities, technical training, builder programs, and access to global blockchain ecosystems.

Our flagship annual conference, Confluence, brings together students, founders, developers, industry leaders, and ecosystem stakeholders for conversations, learning, networking, and innovation. The event attracts over 1,000 attendees annually, making it one of the largest student-led blockchain conferences in Africa.

Today, Blockchain LAUTECH is recognized as a Tier 1 University Blockchain Club in Africa and is widely regarded as one of the Top 3 grassroots student-led blockchain communities on the continent.
